About

Hey there.  As you may have guessed by now, I’m Daniel Horton.  Much of what you’d probably like to know about me has already been addressed in the little space to the right here, so maybe you’d like to delve a little deeper.

I grew up in both Colbert County and Franklin County, Alabama.  Which would probably prove most of the stereotypes about the Deep South, but the one that is the most true is the one about Southern Hospitality.  I moved to Huntsville in 2004 to attend UAH, which was mostly pretty cool.  In 2006, I married my high school sweetheart, and in 2007 I got my BA from UAH.  I couldn’t leave and I work there now as a web and graphic designer, which is a pretty sweet gig most of the time.

Despite any evidence provided to me to the contrary, I still hold that The Empire Strikes Back is the greatest film ever crafted by the hand of man.  I have more knowledge about Tolkien’s Middle Earth stuck in my head than I learned in many of my college classes.  My musical tastes vary from artists such as Aerosmith, Johnny Cash, David Bowie, and Old Crow Medicine Show.

And that’s about it.  If you’re in the territory of still being curious without being stalkerish, feel free to drop me a line.
