So I ordered a new camera for my wife, who does a lot of photography. She’s doing a wedding next weekend, and needed it as a backup. Amazon had a really great deal on it for just under ten bucks, including shipping. But I hate to report that while Amazon always has fantastic deals on their products, they typically have less than fantastic shipping.
Below is a picture of how the battery was shipped when it came to me yesterday afternoon.
That’s all there was to it. The battery itself wasn’t even in the protective plastic that is just right of the box there. Speaking of the box, it was entirely too massive for such a small product that ended up just rolling around during transit. The box barely even fit into our mailbox.
Amazon, I love you. But you take our relationship for granted with this kind of carelessness.
